Hello, I’m Krystal, a community pharmacist that is still learning new things every day. I have been in the field since 2019 and it has been a fast and exciting journey so far. I was floating for 3 years but I recently joined a team at a single location to reduce random traveling and scheduling. As of February of 2021, I am also an inpatient psych hospital pharmacist (as needed, AKA PRN).
The field of pharmacy and navigating life through it can be pretty complex, so I would like to simplify ways you can live your best pharmacy life, either as a pharmacy student, new graduate, or prospective student.
When I’m not working in the pharmacy, I dive into my creativity by crafting with my Cricut, cooking new meals with my Instant Pot, playing piano, singing out loud at the top of my lungs, watching helpful webinars, and writing to express my knowledge. Of course, I also love Netflix and binge watching a few television series. Some of my all-time favorites include: How to Get Away with Murder, Loki, Ozark, XO Kitty, The Manifest, Never Have I Ever, and Victorious. A mixture of crime, light-hearted comedy, superhero, and Korean-dramas!
I am also a skincare enthusiast! I am building my business through Rodan + Fields (R + F for short) because of how amazing their products are! I wear many hats, but I am loving it! I still want to do more!

Why I Am Qualified
Pre Pharmacy
I’ve always known I was going to be a pharmacist from a young age (around 10 years old), but that didn’t make the route to pharmacy school easy. I didn’t get in the 1st year I applied so I had to reconsider my plans. Check out the Pre-Pharmacy Tab to learn more.
Pharmacy School
I attended a fast-paced 3-year pharmacy program at a private university in a different state from my home. I had to overcome quite a few challenges, such as moving away from home, establishing independence, and learning a crazy amount of material condensed into 3 years. Pharmacy Class of 2019 Graduate
Graduating in 2019 meant more competition in the job market and overcoming that saturation while having high student loans. Check out the PharmD Life Tab to learn along with me.
